Experimental Printing for Stitch with June Withers - Morning Class
Requiements List
Please bring any of the following if you have them but please don’t buy especially for the class. June will have it all for you to borrow or with a small charge for the colouring materials.
Fabrics for printing ie Cotton, Linen, embroidery, old sheet, polycotton etc.
Paper, copy, drawing pad about A4 size.
Paints, Crayons water soluble, Pencils, Transfer crayons, Gel pens, any markers or Pens for, fabrics,
Stamping equipment,
Newspaper, Plastic cover for table, Kitchen Roll or Wipes, Apron, Gloves, Masking Tape,
Basic Sewing Kit,
Photos or cuttings for Design.
Techniques for Printing – Stamping, Transfer, Mono Printing.
The idea is to work in groups around the room so as members may choose what they want to do. Hopefully you will have a number of printed fabrics and papers to carry forward into stitching later
