Whitework Buttons with Jenny Adin-Christie - Morning Class
Students will be provided with a kit of materials for their whitework button which will include a fully illustrated instruction booklet. There are two buttons designs to choose from, to be ordered in advaqnce. Buttercup kits £16 or Ayrshire Roundel £14.
Students will need to bring:-
A 6" ideally deep edged embroidery hoop with BOTH rings bound prior to the class.
A suitable stand to allow hands free working on the hoop. A hand help hoop is NOT suitable.
Fine embroidery scissors.
A stilletto (these can be borrowed...don't buy specially).
A wash out marker pen (these can be borrowed...don't buy specially).
A Plain white cloth to place over lap is very useful to make seeing designs easier.
A magnifier if used.
An extra light if used, preferably with batteries or if mains with an extension lead.
Ball tipped lace scissors are helpful but not essential.
