Morning Class - 'Mixed Blackwork with Colour' with Jill Green
Class Cancelled due to Coronavirus restrictions
This member-led morning class will explore blackwork embroidery.
As well as your usual sewing kit, please bring:
* Evenweave fabric, with a thread count you are comfortable with;
* Cotton a broder (soft cotton) thread, in a colour(s) of your choice;
* Rectangular embroidery frame or an old/cheap rectangular picture frame surround. Please attach your fabric taut onto the frame (eg. using drawing pins).In case needed, Jill will bring some threads and has a few spare largish frames which may be kept.
There are many pictures of blackwork embroidery on the internet. An old, simple kit example of Cathy's is in the gallery to help anyone not familiar with blackwork.
