Stitching for Christmas with Branch Members - all day
Maxene, Marion and Ann will be showing members how to make lovely seasonal decorations. The class will be £6 and kits will be provided with the materials for each project at £1 each. Members will have the opportunity to choose which projects to do and will be welcome to try all three if they wish.
Maxene's project is a Christmas Angel. She will provide the complete kit except for sewing thread in seasonal colours plus white and pink.
Marion's project is a felt Robin. Again sewing threads will be needed - in brown, white and red. In addition, paper scissors will be required for cutting the felt and the stiffening.
Ann will be making a Christmas wreath. All the fabric will be provided but green sewing thead will be needed. The wreath will be made on a ring which can be bought from Ann for an additional 50p.
The usual sewing kit will also be required.
